From Thoughts and Ideas to a Business

Cloud1 was founded by four individuals in 2012. The founders shared a vision on how consulting could be done in a more customer-centric manner. Our first customer was Vantaa Energy.
Refining the Focus

We began to refine our focus away from the freelancer model we had at the beginning. Our guiding thought was to build Cloud1's future on our distinctive expertise. Our commitment to Microsoft brought us Microsoft's Gold Partnership.
Establishing a Partner Company

We made a conscious choice to focus on data. A pivotal moment was a large consulting service that we implemented for Hobby Hall. The case opened up more opportunities in the field of Azure. Our partner company, Devisioona, began its operations.
Strengthening of position

Years of work started to yield results. We hired our first employees and the market witnessed a growth in demand for Azure expertise. Our customer conversations led to a significant client relationship with Alko in the spring of 2018.
Refining organizational operations

As our strong growth continued, the importance of managing operational operations was highlighted. We expanded our focus by concentrating on Power BI and analytic functions.
Culmination of growth

In January 2021, for the first time in our history, we had four new employees start on the same day. With our organizational work, product concepts were further strengthened, and we hired our first employee that focused solely on sales. By the end of the year, we moved into our first own office at Vuorikatu.
Achieving milestones

In light of our achievements, our year was record-breaking. The relaxed yet ambitious work culture that has prevailed since our first steps was rewarded with the Future Workplace certificate. Additionally, the venture capital investor Voland Partners joined us to lay the foundation for strategic work and to accelerate our business towards the next leap in growth.
